Hi, I want to make a elevator that goes to one floor to another, but there isn't any animation for that (well there is, but is not solid). Anyone knows where I can find more animations to them? (And how do I put them?)

That is not an animation of the elevator, it's a train system where the elevator model goes from one point to another because it is parented to a func_tracktrain entity that moves from a path_track to another

Assuming you're talking about the intro/outro sequences, those are actual animations. If you're talking about something else, then please explain.

If you want a more solid looking "animation," you could try to imitate the soft starts/stops by having the train nodes change the speed as the elevator begins to reach its destination. As for the barely noticeable, slight rotation, I can't really help you there.

I want to know how can I create and export a sequence to hammer to the elevator (when I create a prop_dynamic, select an elevator and make a trigger to setanimation, and I think it's really animation).

Yes, when you want to use the output 'SetAnimation', you do it for the model animations, or like CJLerch said 'sequences'. You can find those in your Hammer Editor's model browser, in the 'sequences' tab. You can alternatively use the model viewer that you got in the P2 Authoring Tools launcher to open models and check much useful information.

Yes, but these animations that came with the elevator aren't enough, I want to know how I can make more (and export more)

You have to learn how to decompile a model, make an animation in a 3d modeling program of your choice, and then recompile it as a model.

I don't know why you would when you can just use a track train...

Well, that would require getting used to an animation tool, as well as learning how to decompile, program the new animations in addition to the old ones, and recompile a model. While it's understandable if you intend to use these animations ALL THE TIME, it really is more work than you might think.

EDIT: Completely overlooked CamBen's message, basically just posted what he posted. Sorry!
