**Spherical Testing**

Currently in the early stages of development, this portal 2 map pack involves controlling weighted testing spheres to solve puzzles:

Singleplayer game type demo - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GazxaK7x25I

Coop gameplay - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO_3iYjU8yg

A singleplayer and versus co-op mode are in development.

This needs to be moved into the Downloads / Portal 2 maps and files / WIP section

Due to the way this site is set up, I had to upload a file if I wanted it to be on that board, so I put it here.

The map showcasing thread would be an appropriate place for it.

The demo reminds me of an old Nintendo game called Marble Madness, which was quite fun. You should check it out if you haven't seen it before.

The space level on that game was really hard.

Epic! I played a game like this on the playstation once.

The only thing you cant do as a ball is lift things or place portals. :wink:

@Marise

It does say under the mapping help and discussion board 'Post screen shots of your upcoming Portal 2 maps', so I guess this place is ok for this thread. Oh and yeah I've seen marble madness, definitely helped with some ideas.

@Spam Nugget

I've only really just started making the levels for this, but since I have created many prefabs of the game mechanics it should be pretty fast and easy to make the maps.

And on a general note, I'd appreciate as much or as little testing as anyone wants to do, theres never too much testing that can be done!

I've already seen it done for HL2, without counting all the similar commercial games.
If you plan to support coop, then it should be interesting to follow.
good work

Please do coop, because that would be AMAZING. Also, those new pics are looking pretty good :thumbup: I love the styling of that!

I could see a 3D Marble Madness level being made using this.

Lots of progress to show since I haven't updated here in about 3 weeks. So first off, a video of some competitive 1v1 gameplay!

Fun stuff, also heres some images of updates that have been done to the single player maps:

Are you going to add mobility gels to the maps?
(by the way, looks great)
