Great things come in small packages. Claustrophobia is my first map (ever), aptly named because of the large puzzle within the relatively small puzzle space. Included in this map are: 1500 Megawatt Aperture Science Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button Thermal Discouragement Beams Aperture Science Weighted Storage Cube Aperture Science Weighted Pivot Cube Excursion Funnel Doors Panels More Panels Lots of Panels I Like Panels KNOWN BUGS: NONE

Not bad, but I'm looking at this from a design and style perspective and not a puzzle perspective. You should put in puzzles to be able to get the cubes, the fact that it just gives them to you then immediately gives you a buton to put them on isnt very fun. The style of it was nice, though. Good work for your first map. Now you just need to come up with some good puzzles to go with it!
Bug: Laser catcher is too high, basically making the puzzle unsolvable.
It's not a bug

Was a nice map. Keep working.
Ok I got it now. The only issue is that you have to break your own puzzle in order to finish it properly. You keep that wall open even after the first button isnt being pressed. I assumed that wall would close, which severely limited my thought process on how I would get out of there once I brought the first box in to put on the second button. Might want to look at a way to avoid that, because changing something in your puzzle without telling the player you're doing it is bad.
Heres a possible solution: A portalable wall is seen on the inside of the laser area, but when the first button is pressed, the panel goes away. Its only when you bring the second cube in with you that the panel is available to you to be able to get back out. This allows you to close the wall off when the first button isnt being pressed, yet makes a way for the player to get back to the other side.
Excellent map! Laser puzzle was nice.
Demo for you!: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3300848/portal/ ... _late1.zip
@Neoxx There is indicator light showing that the door will open when there is something on the 2nd button as well.

^^This
I added the lights on both sides so it should be obvious that it's an either/or situation.
The puzzle was easy even playing with a mouse pad, but nontheless it was fun playing it.
Bug
The map was way too bright
I got stuck for minute when the lens-cube wasn't tall enough to shoot the laser correctly, but I did get distracted by real life so I kinda forgot there was another cube to stack it on.
Otherwise it was pretty easy, but looked like a good start on the decorating.
Half the puzzle can be skipped using two exploits.
Exploit Solution
This solution is based on two exploits:
1. Panels will occasionally stay open even when the button to open them isn't being pressed, as long as you jump on and off that button fast enough.
2. Portals with no connected portal do not dissipate when something passes in front of them.
See where I'm going? Step on the button, place a portal at the wall behind you. Jump on and off until the panels are stuck open- The portal behind will not dissipate- Then place a portal at the funnel. This sends the funnel /through/ the black panel. Grab the cube and use the aerial faith plate and funnel to bring it and yourself to the other side.
Of course, the intended solution may be easier for some, but this skips a fair portion of the puzzle, so you might want to fix it.
That said, this was a fun map to play- good job with it!
I started playing custom maps and record me playing them. It's neither a perfect run nor do I have to have solved the map in the way it's meant to solve it. I play the maps "blind", that means I've never been in them before and play them for the very first time. I also give a little feedback for the map in the video description.
Maybe you are interested in the fact, that I played your map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBSJjdRa-Y8
So you can see what I did clearer (timing coincidental with previous post, haha, but I figured what I did might need some visualisation):

Good little map, just add lightning. Lack of faith in modders bring to consider near solutions a glitch, be warned.
Please Compress your files before unloading next time.
P.S. gana try out your map now
Only took a couple of minutes start to finish, but cool. I have never seen the double-box-on-button before.
I experienced a glitch in this map, where the stairs receded after I stacked both boxes on the button. I had to take them both off and replace them to get the stairs back.
However, I enjoyed it and thought the mechanics were interesting.
Fun but quick as i knew to stack the cubes from other maps.. Nice but really easy as your like heres a cube (make us work for the cubes next time as it didnt feel rewarding just been given one straight away
).
Short and sweet, a very good first map.
One thing I don't like that I see in many maps, including this one, is when you cannot see the effect(s) of taking an action. In this case, you can't see the "return" panel open when you press the second button. You did provide lights, however, so the connection was easy to follow.
Just 3/5 from me, because it really needs some prettying up (and about two more rooms like it!)
Nifty little map. Took me a couple of minutes before the light bulb went on for the solution. I didn't even bother looking for "exploits".
4/5 from me.
