Description

Hello. This is my attempt at mapping for Portal 2 for the contest. I really wanted to try my hand at co-op since I'm not too interested in single-player mapping, plus I like the co-operative effort involved in solving a puzzle. Mine probably isn't too difficult (maybe not even), but hopefully people might find it to be interesting. Nothing new, really, but does require people to solve before they jump in, I suppose. Also, hopefully I uploaded everything properly. Two images: http://db.tt/qpauFUt http://db.tt/jn6sSXF Looking for some feedback before the deadline, so please help.

One of the observation rooms lack a floor. Really like the muddy looks, usually decayed chambers aren't this dirty. You did well choosing coop, Valve pushed it hard and here we are talking only about the ending and memes.

When I click the Download button, it just takes me to your thumbnail rather than any map download...?

Re-upload your map. You uploaded your screenshot instead of the ZIP/RAR.

Oh, sorry about that. Well it should be fixed now, and I re-uploaded a newer version of the map as well.

I finally remembered to try it!

Again, atmosphere and top notch mapping skills; difficulty's low, beginners stuff. You can however break it further, by setting 2 portals aside on the same square panel: i.e. so that you can conduct a funnel there, and the other player can jump in right there. Imo that should be fixed with thinner panels.

I started playing custom maps and record me playing them. It's neither a perfect run nor do I have to have solved the map in the way it's meant to solve it. I play the maps "blind", that means I've never been in them before and play them for the very first time. I also give a little feedback for the map in the video description.

Maybe you are interested in the fact, that I played your map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Pq7QrF98ks

Two weeks later, it's still one of the best Decay coops. We broke it again, but differently from the earlier attempt I believe. Check that players on the first funnel cannot land on the glass frame at the cube button.

Yeah, I've seen varied ways of breaking the map. I'm just not sure, with the contest submissions over with, if I should try and fix it. I appreciate your comments though.

This was not my first attempt although it had been a long time since previously played.
