Description

Short 5 part puzzle that comes in two maps only because the first map starting getting a bit complicated. I will probably continue adding onto this map and making more puzzles maybe even make a full portal 2 mod that uses these gravity changes for most of the game.

In the seccond chamber you can put the boxes in the hallway and then they won`t be vaporized when you push the button

Good use of area portals, shows the concept well when mixed with puzzles. Well done for figuring them out

ill fix it in the next version as well as add some new puzzles

and thanks to everyone that downloaded and played the map it took alot of work to get the maps good but the idea with it randomly came into my mind in school lol

Very nice! I found a bug though: When you have both portals in the first chamber and go to the second one, right after the wall appears in the tunnel (as you go through world portal) put portal there. Now you can go back to the first chamber through the portal and get stuck there as there is the wall (no more world portal to chamber 2).

Make more of these please!

amazing concept... keep up the good work.
the only thing i noticed is if you press buton to change grafity the placed portals dissapear. but i gess that is couse you use a teleportsystem of some sort... but i fell in lvl 2 down to not get back up couse my other portal was gone.

Glad you enjoy the map and i have added in a small bit more with harder tests no videos on it this time to tell you how to solve them also that bug is there purposely just to see who would notice that their portals have not been fizzled

hey,

I love your new puzzles again whith the gravity and stuff, just a great idea.

but I have found some issues:

In the last chamber(before the companion cube:D)

when you fall in the pit in the last chamber you cant get out again so that is very anoing and the most irritating part is that when you load you cant walk.

and if you load part 2 becouse of that you begin without a portalgun (that isnt a disaster but still.<br /><br />so its a long list but I`m just looking for the flaws because I like the game

  1. The result of the beat turning off for about 3 meters is not a fault of mine lasers were just plain out not suppose to go through world portals so that is a fault of valves having it glitch like that.

    2. The corner in last test chamber is another glitch from valve not intending the use of world portals to be like this thus creating a small white line on that corner.

    3. It isn't clear when it loads because the map is so small.

    4. That is intentional to teach players not to jump into a gravity changed corridor without firing portals.

    5. You don't start with a portalgun because your suppose to start from the beginning not the end.

    And there's the reasons for all of your flaws and how all of them arnt even my fault.

I have to say i enjoyed it a lot. i love the gravity switch. Also I'm not sure if you know the horror movie called "Cube". but your map kinda reminded me of that

Pretty buggy even as a demo, you can get stuck easy. But the gravity mechanic is really interesting and should be developed further. Still, on my pc the world portals show all white from some distance...

Visually this map is bland as hell, and the gravity stuff is more confusing than anything else. It also gets kind of ruined because you can see portal ghosts through walls when you get through the portal doors.

You should also make the screen fade out or something when you get to the Companion Cube room, so the player knows that it definitely is the end of the map.

I agree with xdiesp. The gravity changes are an interesting concept that need to be developed into a better working map.

I gave this 4/5 for the concept, but as a playable map, it barely deserves a 3. I would like very much to see this one polished up and re-released.

Fun level with gravity changes.
Be nice if at the end when you get the companion cube that the level would indicate that that is the end, I wasn't sure if it was or not. But could just be me.

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
