Dev Comment: My First attempt at mapping with Portal rushed out for the contest. Therefore bugs are all Inclusive (Fast retriggering Bridge Button, messes with panels). But I Hope that the Puzzles are well worth it // Changelog is in Thread Aperture Sience Statement: "Welcome to our Underground Biomaterial Recycling Center. We hope you don't mind that we hadn't the time to completly Build it up, but at least we've allready assembled the Sentry Turrets for your Pleisure and enriching Stay. We also would like to inform you, that you should stay away from the Organic Assembly on the ground, becouse it is Highly Enriched Toxic Stuff created by Humans after eating our Repulsion Gel. Aperture Sience, The Future was Yesterday!"

- Fixed a Passage where you could get Stuck
- Fixed a bug concerning the catapult (at least I hope)
- It should no longer be possible to exploit the Top Laser Catcher by Jumping/Cubethrowing
- It should no longer be possible to reach the Catapult before activating the Last Button

V.1.02
- Genetically Optimized Map Appereance
- Fixed fast-retriggering Floor Button (for Real)
- "Dark Panel-Look" changed once again to be more Theme-appropriate

- Pls rename BSP file by deleting the version Number, Portal does not like Full Stops in Names, my Bad :/
- Dirty-fixed fast retriggering Floor Button
- "Dark Panel" now visually more apparent
- One should no longer be able to carry the Cube outside the Gel Pump Station to the later Parts of the Test, it makes no sense anyway

I really enjoyed your map overall, especially the wall climbing.

The one thing I think you should change is when the funnel gets turned off, you have to portal on a dark-colored panel to get back up - it's convention that only white surfaces are portalable, (I spent a minute or two wandering around aimlessly before spamming portals and realizing that was the solution)

Edit: Thinking about it more, I think you should just delete the whole "Ha ha" part, since it doesn't contribute to the map at all. Either that or make it a more intricate puzzle (not just one portal).

Also, I spent a lot of effort keeping the cube alive while climbing the wall, perhaps you could make it impossible to bring the cube to the funnel by putting an emancipation grill at the doorway instead, but that's just a choice of style really.

Hello,

Rest assured that the Dark Panel is in fact a White Surface.
It's only the Lightning which played the Trick on you, sorry for that one though.

The Haha Part was only intended as a kind of Surprise when you Finally Climb the Wall and not as an intependant Puzzle.
The Cubematter will be fixed in an Future Update in which you won't be able to Retrieve the Cube as it has no Further Intended at this moment in Play.

Map's chief weapon is surprise, surprise and originality. Because, while I'm afraid it won't win any beauty contest, it's got puzzles that you've never done before: cube baseball and turret bowling (others did cube bowling already).

It also scores the award for biggest self-funnel puzzle yet. About that dark white wall: maybe an X on it would help.

Totally loved it. Good difficulty and creativity. Personally, I liked the ha ha even though it didn't contribute much to the puzzle. Nice touch!

I really love it to play this. The puzzles are new, funny and great to play. I really like the Beampuzzle because sometimes you get angry if you pased the higher panel and then you start from beginn, arrrrgh xD.

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.

I really wanted to like this map, but there's one major thing holding me from even completing it. I can't deactivate the top laser. I've tried everything I can think of. I've probably spent 20-30 minutes on it. I see in the video above (at 5:45) the guy stood on his cube and then jumped onto that small surface like it's the easiest thing on earth. But it's impossible for me to get onto that small platform. It's like there's an invisible wall there.

A pleasantly different map, with some nice combinations of elements for some of the puzzles. Like many underground maps, this was a little too dark, but you could see what you needed to. The best thing about this map is that when you've solved it, you still want to play it again. Adding this one to my favorites list, albeit not at the top. 4/5 from me.
