One chamber that combines Portal 1 style flinging with new Portal 2 elements (lasers, tractor beams). v1.1.1 Additions ============== Fixed issue with doors opening when touched Increased lip amount on doors. v1.1 Additions ============== Changes to floor portal pads to increase size and improve portal placement ability. Added sign decals to indicate steps of puzzle. Changed cube location. Slight modifications to one of the puzzle steps. Added panel animations. Added sign indicators to help show progression in puzzle. Next version will add another test chamber. Thanks

APERATURE'S FIRST LUNAR SPACE TEST Transverse an exceedingly hard map with no direction, lots of traps and deadly...traps. Also lasers. save after every step. you will die a lot, and get stuck a lot. This map will be refined for future use.

UPDATED 31/05/2011 -op_level3 finished! Starting on level 4... The campaign currently ends after the time travelling test. It lasts maybe 15 minutes if you're band new to it. To load up the maps type "map op_level1" Contains: -Custom Textures -Paint -Flinging -Time Travel -Laser death beams The tests aren't TOO difficult so far, but once it's finished I plan on making some REALLY complex ones - so stay tuned!

My first Portal 2... thing. (aka, NOT a map, just a room) This is first time I ever used Hammer PERIOD. As you can see, I'm not exactly good with it yet, this is just practice. If you guys know how to align textures and how to align walls perfectly, PLEASE let me know! I'll get better eventually.....(P.S. I cannot find the Companion Cube prop! aaah!)

I loved the bts exploration of Portal2, and I wanted to re-imagine and expand upon the 1970s sections, so here's what I've been working on for the last six months: Screenshots here (dated September 04): http://steamcommunity.com/id/RufusThorne/screenshots/ Map 3 in a series, featuring (soon) a daring escape from the test track, some great open exploration of my idea of a 1970s themed bts area. This is more an aesthetic excercise than a playable map with puzzles, but it has an entrance and an exit all the same. Hopefully I will find a way to incorporate some puzzles in the next beta. Please take time to explore (nearly ALL DOORS will open!!) and you'll know when you get to the exit, because the door closes behind you (it's up top) There's a current issue with missing brushes depending on look-angle (fog_controller issue I'm still sorting out) and some areas are overly bright or overly dark. Again, I'm working on this. Once again, please check the screenshots, explore the map, and I'm eagerly awaiting your comments in the discussion thread. *** NEW IN BETA 4 FIXED: Missing reception floor area (thanks tehkasl) FIXED: Replaced some trigger_once doors with trigger_multiple Removed some vitrified doors, replaced with better ones. This isn't so much a puzzle. More like a map to practice moon jumping after acquiring a portal gun. After accessing the Moon Room, you have 3 minutes until the ship reaches the moon's atmosphere and must return to the front of the ship to clear the room. You don't have to be in the Moon Room for time to pass by, you can watch the moon slowly get closer to the ship if you want. Remember, this is just a tutorial. Edit: What the heck? Someone rates this without downloading the map?
