No clue how to get past either of the two rooms once I fling inside them. No idea why that button that turns the panel needs to be there, why not start the level with the panel turned? Also, why does the laser field kill me? This map needs work.
Ok Light bridge room.. clever, but not so tough...
Laser room.. Very Clever..took me a while on that one..
Gel room...took me quite a while as I wasn't observing things properly.. it's very subtle but clever..
You might want to add autosave points in the future.. maybe upon the exit of each room? I quicksave all the time so it wasn't an issue for me, but might be quite aggravating to someone.... say stuck in the back laser room?
5/5

Laser fields always kill you..

Uhh, no they don't. You bounce off them, like regular lasers.

hmmm I don't think I've ever had that experience, but I may be mistaken.. Anyway, these will all kill you..
Send me a msg if you need a hint.
Just let me know where you are at the time.. which room..

Hey.. yeah that's right those lasers do kill you..
Clever map, my only issue is that it's possible to get stuck in the laser room. When you first see the redirect cube, if you enter that room and place a new portal, you will be stuck between 2 locked doors and a laser field. You could argue that the laser field is a way of getting "unstuck", but it's basically just the same thing as quickloading. Other than that, everything is spectacular.
solved all three rooms, now what? the diagonal light bridges disappear when I tried to land on them.
It's a series of giga-rooms with plain, almost entirely metal texturing. Some of the puzzles are a little shifty (placing the laser entry portal off-center, firing a portal at just the right time so that the conversion gel that was just placed does not get covered by the repulsion gel), and the glass and light bridges are not properly framed. This has the potential to be a very good map, it just needs some more work.

Ditto. Plus, what good is the double bridge across the room? I had it all slathered up with gel, thinking I would bounce up and out from it. As soon as I leave the gel room, it disappears.
I also thought that bouncing off the wall might throw me up through the fizzlers, but in many, many tries, I've never even touched them.

Well, how did you get into each of the 3 rooms?
Maybe a similar tactic would work here....

I put blue gel on the fourth wall (the one without an opening) and flung myself at it. It bounces me halfway across the room, and then into the base of the double lightbridge (which bounces me, too.) I have never reached the fizzler, because my portals never vanish. If I fling myself directly at the double lightbridge, I don't bounce off it, I just end up standing on its base.
hmm I flung myself at the gel on the wall and got up on the first try...
Just want back and did it again to be sure.. Maybe you didn't get enough gel on the wall?
Is this supposed to happen?

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Well done.. I tipped the cubes by holding them above me and dropping on my head.. then walking fwd or back to tip the right way..

Yes, it would, especially if it was the last room they went to.
Aside from that, though, great map - some good puzzles that really had me thinking. I really do hope that Valve release an update sometime that allows manipulation of cubes while holding them, to save all the awkward dropping and nudging (here I found using the button as leverage the best tactic).
And seriously, what was with the double lightbridge coming out of the gel room?. Was that just a red herring?
Really liked what you did with the light bridge room and the cube catcher. Did not like the laser room. There were multiple ways to be trapped, and too much trial and error. Fix the laser room though, and PM me telling me, and I'll give you a 5/5
Some good elements, but you can trap yourself virtually everywhere. I trapped myself in the gel room and then twice in the laser room within 5 minutes - quite frustrating.
Djinndrache - you are a Treasure to this community. Some maps have several video solutions, and I always skip the 5-minute speed run and go to your virgin run . . . complete with frustrating, occasional dives into the water on purpose when you are steamed . . and even the all-out "going postal" where you shoot everything up just because you are steamed. Love it - and I laugh my ass off. But you ALWAYS, ALWAYS get it eventually.
And yes - trapped, trapped, trapped - which is why I cannot give this map a 5 rating.
But it is fun and interesting so I wanted to give it a 5.
I am shocked that the author does not fix these traps.
I am still trying to figure out how the 3rd room for you had Blue Gel already across the floor when you first went in there. For me none of it was on the floor. Oh well, the little "white gel" globs are grey and there was no way that I thought shbooting at the wall would cause them to "break" as if they were bubbles and give me a portable surface. But I know now..

Glad you enjoy it <3
I played (and complained about) this map months ago, but didn't rate it because I couldn't finish it. I came back today and tried it again. Once I figured out that precise portal placement is critical to each fling, and also the way you approach the faithplate, it went smoothly. On my second playthrough, I made every fling in four attempts or less.
Even though the looks are eyeball-numbingly dull, and the individual puzzles are rather simple, the variety and novelty is enough to lift this one to 4/5.
