Do you have any close-ups of that player model retexture?
(I actually have my own sort of player model retexture that looks similar, except the scheme is orange and black)

There are a lot of people who need to be community contributors around here. I think everyone just sort of forgot about the ranking system.

EDIT: the weird 'too light' 3D skybox has been changed to a better, more fitting lighting.
But the rest looks good ^^

I quite agree, the lighting when I took this was really off, it is fixed now.
This is actually a map in a sort of hl2-portal crossover mini-mod where you are in dark cave's universe.

That looks really good. I love the shadows, everything looks pretty realistic. The only thing is, there's nothing actually behind the Aperture entrance (that I can see)...it would look great with a huge, formidable complex of brushes making up the facility behind it.
they've always shared technology, it's not suprise that dark cave is the combine leader. XD
energy balls, portals, glass tubes, stasis pods, light bridges, energy ball catcher things- aperture is practically the human combine. 
That looks pretty nice! The background seems a bit bland, though. Myabe add some structures or large smokestacks or solar panels or trees or something.

I'll see what I can do with some brushwork, The building definitely needs more substance, even though most of the Aperture Combined Tech facility is underground.

The interesting thing is, most of the main campaign will take place outside of the Aperture building, but the setting of the maps will be either on Earth 1, in the Combined Tech facility, outside the main places, in "central city" outdoor and indoor, or in the unnamed central prison in which Cave is. This is just one of the cool entry/exits I will have.

I'm working on the skybox, adding some more industrial props, some foliage, mountains, etc. Luckily the world in this universe is pretty barren except for the living facilities and technology factories, so I can get away with a little bit wider level of sparseness with trees and full on buildings.

Thanks! Well, mainly from Sci-Fi movies
I use to catch a lot of details from the movies and I imagine how to make them in hammer all the time
Also, I always try to make things the most creative way, breaking what has been done before to build a different thing.

Thanks, mate! This is for my little mappack about to be released called "Oxygen Station", but also, it will have 'something to do' with my mod.

The only real thing I'm missing is a light_environment that throw some more lighting from that skybox, it definitely seems you didn't use one... and you should. On the other hand, I totally love the style and those Aperture overlays!!
