Hi guys

Guess what?! Our amazing CODER (read: one) has single handily re-written THE ENTIRE PORTAL CODE AND MADE IT FOR MULTIPLAYER! That's right, in the course of a couple weeks one person has written the entire Portal code (because I found out you can't decompile code teehee) and also made it work in multiplayer (wow!).

OH BTW, I am not going to post any proof or screenshots or really anything for that matter, JUST TAKE MY WORD ITS GOOD I PROMISE.

Point of this thread: You're all talk and no show. Give us some proof, show us wrong. I want to be shown wrong but I just have a feeling that it won't happen.

I don't see anything over on that site, just the exact same claims here spewed here (except everyone on that site believes him and has no idea of the technical side of Source).

Kizzycocoa, you aren't running a multi-million dollar development studio. You are making a mod, for free, with a couple people. If you indeed are creating such groundbreaking things that you claim, give us proof! There is nothing to gain from hiding behind brick walls.

Everyone agrees on the need for proof, and everyone agrees the mod is incredibly overblown, generally impossible, and very unlikely to be released as is hyped. This doesn't mean there's need to take the piss out of the guy; even if he really doesn't know what he's on about at least he's still trying to contribute something, which is better than the vast majority of people out there. You're really just making yourself look far less intelligent than you are.

Clearly he doesn't realize this though otherwise he would give us some proof. The more he keeps claiming features and failing to give proof, the more I am going to hound him for it. I've made my fair share of content for Portal and other Source games, I have no proving to do. Kizzycocoa is the one who needs to climb up the ladder.

You misinterpret me. I'm saying I agree with everything you've said, I just don't see the merit in being a dick about the fact this guy is shittalking. If he has proof to give, we'll let him give it. Otherwise, just letting the thread(s) die will make him look fool enough without people contributing to it.

I've been out of the loop for a little while. This is the first I'm hearing of multiplayer Portal and no there is no proof posted at myaperturelabs either.
