All that Swine Flu stuff is a hype. It appears Swine Flu has a less heavy impact on your body than normal Flu.
Of course, there's the danger. You might go to work/school with Swine Flu, not knowing you have it or not feeling ill enough to remain at home... And contaminate everyone at your office/in your class.

And yes, it wasn't any worse than a normal flu thankfully because I am already very healthy. I did get out of two midterms because of it though!

The worst thing about this is that they took the name "swine flu" - the 1914, (EDIT: I mean, 1918) epidemic disease that killed c. 100 million people around the globe. (Of course in 1918 there were 1.9 billion people on Earth so today it would be c. 350 million.)

In the Netherlands, it's known as the "Mexicaanse Griep", which translates to "Mexican Flu".

It's easier to tell if we have the pig flu when our largest pet is the Telus pig. He hasn't felt under the weather yet, so we're still good.
