Hi guys, sure most of you know about the P2 collab thread on facepunch. I wanted to show my maps/textures to them, but I can't join the site - registery is broken, it accepted my email but now I cannot get my account to work. i tried it, but is said the password was wrong, when it was not. Trying to recover my password always fails, saying I did not type what was in the captcha (when some times it was obviously NOT wrong...)

Why is it so difficult to register on this site? How can I fix this?

I am not sure if it is still there but...a week ago when I tried to register...there pops a banner at the top saying something like "The e-mail system is bugged right now so until then your screwed!"

I dunno maybe it's still bugged.

That stinks, because if that's true, I can't get on facepunch.

Anywhere else they talk about stuff? That isn't, y'know, dead?

I used to head there every once in a while, but one day it attempted to download an EXE to my computer. No clue why, but I don't even bother with it anymore. Besides, I rather dislike the attitude a lot of members have.

I'm moving this thread to General Off Topic, but I really want to lock this thread, because 1.) this has absolutely nothing to do with TWP and barely has anything to do with Portal/Portal 2, and mostly because 2.) facepunch is the asshole of the Source editing community. Yeah, some decent stuff comes out of there on occasion, but mostly due to the fact that it has absorbed a lot of users over time much in the way Something Awful has.
