MY COMPUTER IS NOW SCHEDULED TO SHIP ON WEDNESDAY AND I AM ANGRY.

On the other hand, it took about four hours to flash my flash drive (haha) with a bootable Windows 7 setup, so I guess its all better now that I'm prepared.

Here is a picture of omni giving one of his servants radiation poisoning.

So yeah, that computer. I'll be totally l33t and souper awesome and I guarantee my CPU will be faster than yours.

If you're offering, I still don't have P2, but I also still don't have a computer that will run it. Make of that what you will.

Or you could get it from any number of other portal 2 owners who have found themselves with a 75% off coupon. Co-op was added to the PTI yesterday and they also gave all current portal 2 owners that coupon.

Had 2 jobs through a temp service, and just got started on my 2nd (now 3rd) week of college. With Grox's challenge, I also learned how to make a simple addition calculator.

Fair enough. Do you mean you programmed the calculator or made it from a breadboard and some gates?

Programmed it. :3

It's amazingly simple but, as always, I felt so smart when it worked.

Hey, everyone's got to start somewhere. What language did you use?

I recently started learning c++. No idea how to make a calculator, although it seems like it ought to be easy if I bothered to learn how. I have made a text adventure with a random encounter system though. I know what you mean when you say that the simplest things make you feel smart.

Reminds me of my first adventures in Hammer, thought I was so clever for adding a turret.

That is usually the key of learning, feeling smart.

I started with very basic batch files, then a little C# and Java.
But I suggest to try out Codecademy, neato imo...
