My notion is the same as Kizzy's with the exception of ghosts, as I do believe in those - mostly because I believe I met 2. (if I actually did is debatable but I FELT I did, which is enough for me)

Jerk? No. Selfish? All humans are; there's few exceptions, and those people are usually saints.

Not specifically you; almost everyone is. It's part of our instinct, like our Paranoia.

Hey guys, how many shirt-based corporate advertisements do you own? I have at least 4 that I wear on a regular basis.

None that are as blatant as a huge logo, but I have several shirts like the various Valve shirts with characters or references on them. Although those have the HL2/Portal/whatever logo on them, no matter how small it is, so I guess they count.

I actually avoid logo tops. I find them needlessly labeled. People say things like, if a shirt says Lonsdale, they're a chav, yet an Adidas shirt in the same colour is apparently ok.

Why not remove the labels, and be ok no matter who you are? People tops around too many labels as-is, without tossing corporate favouritism into the mix.

I personally could care less about what I wear, so long as it's for a man, isn't ripped, shredded or otherwise damaged (deliberate or otherwise) and is clean.

In all fairness, Lonsdale is dirt.

how? it's fabric!

I had a perfectly ok shirt that's lonsdale, but now it's a "chav shirt", that shit's never being worn again. and it was a fairly good shirt.

we already have class warfare with the bigwigs, why have it among ourselves?

Most of the shirts I own are my mother's coworker's son's, they are pretty nifty, a few years ago I had a lot of Element T-shirts. Now I have a few mark shirts I probly don't know about the mark beside that green Lacoste polo.

Calling your t-shirt bad is hardly class warfare

it makes anyone who where's the tshirt thought of as lesser. it degrades an entire section of the populous to "chav", all due to their shirt. and I know, I've never worn it since, as I don't want to be degraded like so. while it may not be a "war", it's a form of class warfare, in the sense that there's a divide caused by perceived "class".

I wore a flowery shirt the other day because tourists and old people are terrible and I'm taking back my Floridian turf.

I've always thought it was pronounced hyper-bowl

If it makes you feel any better , in my house Florida is banned as a suggestion for a family holiday because it's too tacky.

Sorry, ignorant American here. I've heard the term before but I'm not sure of the exact meaning and connotation.

Also, wow you people find a way to argue over anything. Still, I shouldn't be surprised. It is the internet after all.

Abrasive, inarticulate, ignorant, aggressive and usually found wearing Lonsdale/cheap tracksuits and Air Max trainers. Often working class. It originally stood for "council house and violent".
