Nah, wrote 4'33", a piece that consisted of a single not on a trumpet and then - not silence - the sounds of whatever was going on around the listener at the time. It's in (IIRC) four movements.

Yeah, I know who he was too. I recall he also wrote a piece intended to be played with radios as instruments, tuning the dials according to the score.

As fun as the joke was, ruining it was kind of fun too.

Work's now.

Something I don't understand, this sounded cool until it said "Lug your PC to your TV." First off, my PC is heavy. Second, I need to lug it downstairs. But it came just in time as we now have a 50" in the living room.

But now I can clearly see a Steambox being in the making now seeing this, Windows 8, and other things.

I know what you mean - I'd love to see my games on the 60-70" projected home theatre we have, but it's 2 flights of stairs away from my room where my heavy, plugged-in-17-places gaming box is.

I used to spend hours turning sheets of paper into minute universes, occasionally spanning planets or even small galaxies, each with its own continents, caves, cliffs, fjords, and little forests, switchbacks, and stick people. I guess that's why xkcd is so popular; the content is often so axiomatic that we agree without even thinking.
