Punt :B

Hey look, wild medals have appeared. They're a bit unwieldly to manage, at the moment however.

(I have to go into a separate database I created and set flags like 101010101000010110 for different medals. Not really there's only 5 possible ones at the moment)

Just saw The Social Network. As a non-facebook member and an aspiring web entrepreneur myself, it was fairly interesting.

Some speculation regarding mAI in light of what I now know about the development of facebook: mAI will probably never be profitable. It will also probably not get much larger than it is now. It's extremely specific and appeals to a very small group of people. And I'm really not a web engineer savant.

Just know that, like Zuckerberg, I won't add advertising because I don't want the party to be over at 11.

I'm kind of surprised you ever expected mAI to be profitable at all. We are, like you said, too small of a group for that.

Just to be clear, I never really expected that. It's just something I realized after watching that movie.

So I found this comment on a video I recently watched:

JohnsonFamily718 wrote:
No, I know what I am talking about. I've been a cardiologist for 10 years.

Other comments in the stream seemed to be suggesting he was talking out of his ass. So I checked his activity feed. Turns out, these are just some of his other recent comments:

JohnsonFamily718 wrote:
I am head of an animation team, this is really outdated. Sorry, not impressed at all.

JohnsonFamily718 wrote:
This is terrible. I am head of a robotics team and I can design a better robot than this. Plus my robots don't take so damn long to decide where to go.

JohnsonFamily718 wrote:
Nope. I am a child psychologist and I know that this can potentially traumatize a child.

Apparently this guy goes around impersonating people with actual careers just to make his point. What a prick.

Hey reep, why don't you make some TF2 maps?

In other news, deleted a ton of fucking spam this morning. What a healthy breakfast.

It's just sad that people make up so many different personalities/stories and pretend to know better than everyone else...

I have been a professional poster for thirteen years, and I can tell you that your opinion is entirely irrelevant to this conversation.
