I was wondering if there is a difference between the two available versions of Portal
- Portal as part of the Orange Box
- Portal as seperate game

Furthermore, I noticed some of the testchambers that occur in the trailers do not show up in the game.
(This olso goes for Portal 2) Does someone know why and are these chambers available to download?

First, as long as you're paying for both packages (and by that I mean not getting Portal through the free offer, receiving it as a Steam gift, etc.), there's no difference. I bought a hard copy of Portal on its own and it's no different from if I'd bought the OB.

Second, in both games many chambers were cut, probably because they were part of the beta. Unfortunately, VALVe hasn't made them available to the public.
