That's pretty dark, but the .GIF looks epic and the BTS seems well detailed.
At the Gif: Did you changed the fog color from dark to white? Because i dont think that it changes the whole lightmap ^^

I do have an appreciation for colored lights. It probably came from years of making darkrides in roller coaster tycoon 3. XD the fog does change color and I use an env_ambient_light (i think it's called that) to add to what you can see.

It possibly is, and I may add more light in play testing, but I do have an appreciation for darkness, and since the whole story has a darker/horror feel, it may look good and add to the environment. Also, the darkness in the red room is supposed to create a strong contrast when you step out into limbo and the fog flashes. (The limbo vista happens right after the red room.)
Mirrors. ofc, this is nowhere near completion.

Well, he does have some light, but I agree that it needs to be a smidge lighter. How it is now...I think that will definitely annoy people.

@Habzs: Are the mirrors models or glass brushes? It looks good anyways.
Habzs: How did you get the trigger to work without a hidden portal, though? For me only the starting point of the bridge activates it.

They are brushes with a reflective surface.

Too dark indeed; but I like the shadows; maybe just increase the brightness of your light a bit.
Habz; looks interesting; can't wait to see it in an actual map!
