A new testing course has arrived just in time for the holiday season! Can you make it through the five festive tests GLaDOS has in store for you?

~We strongly recomend playing this map in high shader detail, as certain custom textures will not look as good with lower settings.

~Difficulty: Hard
~Estimated Time: 40 minutes - 2 hours

FAQ

Q: I can't solve (insert puzzle number here)!
A: A video walkthrough is avalaible on this page.

Q: How long did the map take to make?
A: Seven months.

Q: How did you get the test chamber/map to look like this?
A: Hammer World Editor (also known as Portal 2 Authoring Tools Beta). Keep in mind most the <Holiday Name Here> models and textures are custom made and unavalaible to the public however!

Q: Will the team be doing any other holiday maps?
A: None are planned at this time.
~~~~
Q: Can you give me <insert custom texture or model here>?
A: To keep these custom elements special, and to respect all the effort the creator's put into them, they will not be released for public use.
This was excellent. It took me awhile to solve the last chamber, but it was very satisfying when I did. And, according to the walkthrough, I did nothing unintended. Everything worked great; the custom stuff was very well done. Just a great playing experience. Thanks to all of you!
I loved the map, with exception of the last puzzle that was a little frustrating.. (just to be clear: i'm not blaming the the puzzle design, was i that didn't founded the solution and skipped with noclip =P, i'll try again later) overall a great experience loved the design, all that custom content, the fizzler and water textures the snow particles (how did i pack the particle files into the bsp?) the sounds, awsome.. LOVED LOVED LOVED is an easy 5/5 !!!
I think it's a brush entity that makes rain and snow.
Seems I'm a little late to this map. Brilliant map and, Tmast98 - you assembled a first class team for this series of chambers. Nice progression of difficulty - even a dirty cube in the last puzzle as a hint... thanks for creating this masterpiece.... will play this "spotlight" candidate again.... maybe an annual holiday event....
Damnit I want to play this map so bad but my workshop is broken! The screenshots look nice, though. Great job!
I have already said how much I love this map, in the workshop - no need to repeat that here...
The level of detail is great. Love all these small things.
I have played and solved the map 3 times now, and it really is great fun.
Thanks! As for the snow, it was made via an entity called func_precipitation.
Yeah, I forgot it's name. It's possile to make different things like rain or this rain or that snow.
How'd you get that to work in Portal 2? I'd tried using it earlier but it just didn't cooperate.
Spotlit! Hope this stays on the top page in the workshop. I give this a 10 out of 5. Great root of 25 puzzles.
I'd like to know this too, I've got rain working with an info_particle_system, but func_precipitation appears to be broken, even on the snow setting.
Maybe! I have no plans for this though. The Winter Testing Initiative was quite a lot of work! I would also be afraid a sequel wouldn't be as good as the origonal though
As I said on the workshop: very nice! It shows that a lot of work went into this map and all of the visuals.
I remember noticing some very minor visual glitches while playing, but nothing serious. (May have been my graphics card doing weird things.)
Thanks to this whole team for delivering a delightful Chr??istmas experience.
(Whoops should have made that <Holiday Name Here>. Sorry.)
