Empty VPK files

Hello. I'm new on this forums. And i have a problem with making a mod... When i drag my folder to vpk.exe shortcut. The VPK file is created. But its empty! What can i do :S

What do you mean it's empty? Did you check with VIDE or gcfscape?

in gcfscape theres just root folder. when i use vpk.exe file in cmd it shows someting like this

shutdown.exe.lnk is the folder im keeping some stuff

wow; that seems like a horrible map name 
try to rename your folder to something more friendly like folderforstuff or something. it wouldnt surprise me if that will might fix your problem.

and tgoe is just the short version on the maps's name (its actually a mod 
)

Just curious... why name it shutdown.exe.lnk? You do realise that folders dont have extensions dont you?

i know the folders doesnt have a extension. This is a bug with objectbar. im using objectbar leopard theme and i wanted to create a shortcut. and this happened
