Portal 2 native management of custom chambers sucks. It's a fact , a simple queue/list where you can't reorder, move, group.....ZERO customization.
We really need a management mod, directly integrated in Portal 2 menu if possible. A DB-like manager.

Any solutions/ideas?

It's still better than bonus maps or manually installing BSPs, both of which could be rather intimidating to newcomers. I doubt VALVe is going to make any big changes at this point.

It's still a bit annoying that you can't play manually installed maps without the console. It just doesn't feel right for some reason.

You can also use the Extras menu, but that depends on the map.
