Hi there, I have some problems with my mod Portal 2: Abyss.
I wonder if anyone here can help me out.

The bug is simple. Whenever I launch the game, It crash while loading the Main menu.
It load the Valve's intro fine though

I believe I must have made some mistake a along time ago, and now I have no ideas how to fix it.

That's why I am looking for someone who can help me out fixing it.

The mod is Officially on Steam. It is not in the sourcemods folder. ( it is simply private and not released )

If you have any experience in setting up mods please PM me and I will send you a Steam Key so you can download the current build and see what's wrong with it.

I believe I have had a similar problem, with one of my portal 2 mod setups and have since fixed it, I can try it out if you want. Steam name: Cam?en I can try and fix it tomorrow

It sounds like there is a problem in your bin, cfg or script files.
The easiest way to find the problem is delete the contents of your bin and cfg folders.
You might want to keep a backup of your bin folder if you're using steamworks features like workshop or achievements. If not you're free to delete it.

If that doesn't solve it, you'll probably have a slightly bigger issue.
Probably a problem in your resource stuff, most likely gamemenu_new.res make sure to check the quotation marks. They can be a pain. I hope that helped, and if not I'm happy to help you troubleshoot further.

Hey there, Well if I delete the Bin folder, I get an error message when I try to launch the game.

Edit* I copied the Bin file from P2 and pasted it into my Mod folder and Now the game launch properly.

Never mind then, if you've got it sorted out you don't need to send me it.
