Using Hammer over RDP

Anybody been able to get Hammer up on Remote Desktop?

I need to use it for stuff but Hammer seems to spazz out when you use the camera.

This problem happens because the Remote Desktop server sends absolute pointer coordinates (like a drawing tablet) instead of relative ones (like a mouse). This conflicts with the way Hammer reads your mouse movements when camera control is active.

This can also be a problem with virtual machines, but those usually have a "game mode" that's specially made for solving these issues. I'm not that familiar with Remote Desktop, but look around in the configuration options for something that says "game mode" or "relative pointing device" or something like that.

You can use the camera tool (shift+C if I remember correctly) to move the camera around in the 2D views, but it's pretty lackluster compared to flying around in the 3D viewport.

Unfortunately, Remote Desktop doesn't seem to have any relative coords option. However, using Steam Streaming with Hammer seems to work, with the exception of the top bar (file menu, etc) not showing. I think that using that is as far as I can get.

Anyways, thanks for the help.
