Portal 2: Modeling

Hello! how do i make a model for Portal 2. I know it is a simple question, But i have no clue on what to do.

[]What software can i use?
[
]How do i give the model a texture?
[*]How do i give the model a sequence? (Movement)

I can export and convert SMD to MDL

Please help!

Man, you should already have the answer to those questions since you have already asked them before

You can make models for Portal or any other Source engine game using Blender for example. I'm aware you already have the program installed and also the plugin to work with .SMD files. The rest is spending time with it.

Yes, I know about Blender. But i need somthing better. And i also need to be able to give the model a texture and sequence.

I can do all the things listed with Blender. Unless you're doing like advanced bone/animation stuff, I think Blender is fine for the common Source Modder.

Sorry Everyone if i am sounding a bit dumb here, (I am new to moddeling) But i need to know HOW In blender how to give the Model a teaxture, I also need to know how to make a sequence In blender, So when i go into hammer my sequence is listed for me to use!

To make simple models you can use google sketchup,
To make good models use Cinema4D
To make Sequances you can use Source Filmmaker

You can and should use Blender for everything. Why? Because 1. you can do that there, 2. because Blender is free and open source, 3. because Blender has good community support (in difference to Softimage XSI).
