I take no credit for making the files contained. I just put them together for others to enjoy. There are 2 pak01_dir.vpk files. One contains the portalgun as clean/HD, the other as normal. They both contain the "Hand under Portalgun" and "HD Portals".

I have a problem. After I create a folder labeled "portal2_dlc3" and place it into the location you mentioned and then start the game, I get an error saying "can't find background image/console/portal_2product_1_widescreen.vtf". When I remove the "portal2_dlc3" folder, the game works again. Any ideas how to fix this? Thank you!

Enter snd_updateaudiocache in the console. This should fix the issue.
