But, whats stopping GLaDOS from communicating from the enrichment center? she IS a computer after all.

Also, ive thought about making new glados speech, but the thing is, so many things i would just have to remake from scratch, EG: Weighted storage cube on the button, welcome to the enrichment center, etc

edit: ive thought up a new name for the GLaDOS of the omega division:

ODDOS

Omega Division Disk Operating System
and its a "he"

but i havnt got far enough to make custom speech :razz:

Well, it wouldn't amaze me at all if ApLabs got a bunch of other laboratories and they got a different version of GLaDOS there. That's what most custom-GLaDOS's are based on; for example my MALCom.

Hey, I have an idea to make another AI voice. Just use a vocal synthesizer that sounds like GlaDOS, then to justify it as soon as she speaks let her say "Sorry, but I'm an older model, my speech synthesizer isn't as advanced as the GlaDOS one"

It was already used in the glorius Shmitzchamber (speaking of which, where has he gone? His maps were awesome) but it would be nice to see it again :smile:

He's working on TF2 stuff now, like many people Portal mapping can get stale.

Looks very high quality - I'm definitely looking foreword to this. The screenshots have an very cold feel to them and what we've seen of the puzzles look very cool and intuitive. I can't wait to see how you use the anti-gravity platforms in puzzles - they could make for some awesome flings.

Anyway, how much do you have finished? What do you think are the odds of a release sometime this month?
