What program can I use to convert a screenshot .tga file, to a .jpg? Also about the BNS script maker in the download section, when I enter the the picture file name as the thumbnail, it doesn't work when i enter Portal. It just shows a black picture. ???

GIMP is a freeware image program, you can use that to convert. I think there is a TGA->JPEG conversion program floating around too.
Alternately, you can just use the "jpeg" command in-game, to take a jpeg screenshot instead of a targa.

Thank you.
I already have GIMP. I figured out how to convert the .tga, but I'm still having trouble with the Bonus Map thumbnail.

The .tga used for bonus map thumbnails need to have a fully-white Alpha 1 layer.

Just use Photoshop, not only does it do wonders, but it restores some of that quality taken away from the conversion, but of course not all of it.

Yes, I use Corel Paint 8. Old but gets the job done. I can save .tga files. Also, I also have IrfanView which is good to resize .tga files quickly!

Or for those who can't afford PS, Paint.NET is a free alternative.
