So for the past year I have been worrying that somewhere out there is some other Portal site that none of us knew about that was sucking all of the attention. GLaD we were wrong and that this is the best place out there!

Well, isn't this exactly what Valve wanted? Custom map communities for Portal? It would be insane if they'd DMCA this place... They'd actively shut down their own community. EA would do something like that, but Valve won't.

Yeah I know it was an irrational fear.
I offered some of the other failed Portal sites money for their domain names but none of them bit.
