I'm looking to make new "chamber enter signs". When I load up the VTF of Valve's signs (to edit them) in photoshop all I get is a blank image with a semi-transparent gray rectangle near the bottom. How can I extract the different skins to different VTFs and edit them individually and not get the gray rectangle? Or is the rectangle just a skin, and I have to get a different skin loaded up?
