Anyone ever see this?

When I load up my map in portal, after compiling the cubemaps in hl2dm, the following error has started to show up:

Couldn't get HDR 'maps/Challenge2/c-109_-259_-244.hdr' -- Trying non HDR 'maps/Challenge2/c-109_-259_-244'
Failed, using default cubemap 'engine/defaultcubemap'

There is a seperate error for each cubemap within the map.
It seems so still work okay and it looks fairly attractive, still, but I hate seeing errors at the console.

Does it load up the map at all or does it quit out of the map then give you the error?

Yeah, it loads totally fine. Doesn't even really seem to have any problems, my concern is just with the fact that it does it for every cubemap, so I must be doing something wrong w/ the cubemaps, or it may have something to do w/ rendering it w/ hl2dm.

I think it does that for me as well, it would more than likely do that because the map was compiled in a different game.

For cubemaps, you have to generate one with HDR on and off. This may or may not be possible with HL2DM, depending if its using the engine upgrade that supports HDR, see if you can turn it on and off in the video settings then make 2 sets of cubemaps.

Ralph is right, you should use Episode 1 or CSS for building HDR cubemaps. I don't think HL2DM uses HDR.

Lost Coast would work too, I reckon. The whole point of it was to show off HDR.
