I can't figure out how to make a trigger_once entity (or any of the other trigger entities). Specifically, it doesn't show up on the list of possible entities on the right hand bar. The list just goes straight from test_traceline to vehicle_veiwcontroller

Is there something specific you have to do?

Yes, first make a brush the size of the trigger with the texture trigger.
it will be orange. Then right click, select tie to entity and type into the box at the top trigger_once. select apply and then choose your settings

Optionally, you can also use a trigger_multiple and simply put all the outputs to fire only once.

This is kind of dumb.

But it's possible.

It's also possible to make your neighbour's dog shut up by putting something sharp in your compressed air gun. That doesn't mean you should do it (though it is a frigging dog).

Rico, stop. Giving unsound advice is stupid and you know it. There's no reason to advise someone to do something that is pointless, even if it "works" or is "one way of doing it".

VictoryIncandescence - Use a trigger_once, end of story.
