Information
This map is a puzzle/showcase map. It has a few puzzles, while showing different parts of aperture science. It is set in an alternative time line, where the player took the party escort submission position.

This map is the second map in my series - pesp.

Depending on the success of this map, I may or may not release an episode 3.

Note: This map has an easter egg as well

It is now available for download 1 month and 2 days after the first part.

This is not a bump, this post has been up for a few hours with the link disabled.

Good map (I didn't find the easter egg this time).
The flings were sometimes hard as hell (well, at least for me).
I used a camera to press the button to disable the fizzler, anyway, it was not necessary to press the button to proceed.
I liked the voice again, but subtitles were missing.
Overall, good work!

It was intended for the radio but i have since determined to exclude that from the final game. Also it is for the chamber to give it realism. You would have to disable the fizzler to get the cube for the next room.

Great map, but I was stumped on how to get to the other side of the room where the floor and lower walls can hold a portal but the ceiling and upper walls, as well as the floor on the other side, can't. Its the room with no button in it.

I don't know if it has a name, but I am calling it an additive fling. It will be in my next map, but slightly different.

Thanks for the clue, now I managed to get through the entire map. Is there an easter egg in episode 1?

I assure you, the egg is not related to the radio. It got way to boring and monotonous testing the radio egg. Especially after carrying it through the first episode 50 times. lol

I will give you a hint to, it has something to do with the cube this time

I guess I'd better start making more posts to get to page 3 faster?

Do you know how time consuming subtitles are ?

Is it possible to take the cube back to the beginning of the map? The portals you placed earlier are wiped out by an "invisible fizzler" in the tube just before you get the cube.

No, i added the invisible fizzler because i spent probably 1 hour trying to set up the triggers in that room to be multiple. No matter how many times i tried, it always glitched cubes. So i decided to add a fizzler.

what exactly is the point of the button in the room where the wall pops out a bit. It is just to trigger the wall, or does it do something else as well, because I noticed that the camera on the wall is able to trigger the button. Is this supposed to happen?

Great level over all. Most of the problems were caused by conflicts with Valve's original design theory.

The worst part was the additive fling puzzle. You allowed far too little floor space, whereas Valve always put nice, big flat areas to land in. Yours added difficulty without adding brain-bending. To me, a good puzzle is in the figuring out, not the execution.

Otherwise, all is well.

I explained this on page 1
