Uploading question

This may in fact become obsolete within the next few hours, but anyway...

I recently came back to this place, seems rather quiet, but nonetheless I uploaded my recent map. Well once it was uploaded I had no indication that it had been, it was not posted anywhere and I couldn't find it on any lists...

Well now it appears to be listed on the main page but I get an error when I click on it. (Access denied. You have no rights to do this!)

Is there a delay or moderation system or something? I looked around a bit but couldn't find any info on that.

Cheers

Must be a glitch, there's no moderation system. My maps all appeared instantly when I uploaded.

Well then, Msleeper, can you fix it?

Fixed. Any reason you uploaded it into "Other Files"? Not that that was the problem, but I moved it to Released Maps. You should be able to edit the file as per normal now.

Hmm...I don't recall uploading it there. I could swear I clicked released maps...

No problem. It's a whole new system so it's definitely got some quirks we're working out. Better now than after Portal 2's release right?

I just got the same problem while uploading to "work in progress". A link appears under "new downloads" that gives back the same error that p0rtalplayer mentioned and the map doesn't appear in the download list. Should I try again?

That was another problem. It's fixed and here is the thread: community-releases/try-anything-twice-1-0-2-t1997.html

The rating system should work. I modified it so that it's out of 5 instead of out of 10, I feel that 5 is much more concise of an actual rating system. And the old rating system was based off of 5 I think, I might see about importing the old ratings.

Anyway, it now shows both the map's rating and how many rates it has. Enjoy.
