That's the thing; I'm not sure whether it is illegal or not. It might be that it only comes packaged with more expensive versions. Or not.
It's in the license agreement so it's illegal in the United States under the Digital Millennium Copyright act and under the appropriate equivalents in all other major countries.
Okay I have another problem now. Hammer is stuck in this loop thing where when I go to compile the map it tries to copy what it thinks is the "already compiled" map but doesn't find anything because I deleted that BSP (because of this error) So it doesn't compile a new one even when I try fiddling with the expert settings.
I did a leak check and looked for problems but everything is fine. I just restarted my computer aaaannnnnd....nope. It just spits this at me every time.

"The system cannot find the file specified."
EDIT: It says in the log that a displacement was found under func_brush which is not allowed.
I'll search for that I guess.
