Before I found out that buying P2 for ps3 would guaranty you the pc version also, I was planning on pre-ordering for both consoles from Gamestop. But now that I know this, I can save 50 bucks and just pre-order the ps3 version, but this leaves me with the question, will the custom co-op bots be available in the free pc version of the game?

Since it's linked to your steam account, I am assuming so.

This whole portal 2 shenanigan is almost making me wish I had a ps3, instead of a cruddy Xbox. Ah well, that's what you get for having a microsoft parent.

I'm going to buy the PS3 version then give it to a friend to use. Once hes done after a few months maybe, I will take it back and sell it! =)

Wait, does this mean you could make multiple steam accounts, link the ps3 version to all of them, and sell the accounts for a small profit? (or if your nice give them away as gifts)

I'm assuming you can only link the game to one steam account.

Pretty sure that's the way it works, similar to why you have to enter confirmation codes when installing games via CD/DVD on a PC. Only difference is it's probably in the CD/DVD and read automatically on the PS3.

No, according to the steam agreement. You can't sell steam accounts (copyright reasons).
