hey guys
I love Portal 2 and I want to creat my own maps to test people ahah.

But I have some basics questions about the editor.
How can you put something in the map ?

• Doors in the beginning and in the end.
• lasers, buttons, etc..

It's not going to be easy right off the bat. There's definitely a learning curve but if you keep it up for a week and are willing to learn, you'll pick it up pretty quickly. I recommend checking out the Valve Developer Community (VDC) to get started. For a lot of objects you'll need to use the entity tool within Hammer and then place the right kind of entity required for what you want in your room.
