Here's my playthrough: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3300848/portal/ ... mrlate.dem

It is true this map is not really hard, as this is intended to be the first of a series of test.
Figured out how to open the .dem file ( playdemo enrichment_mrlate.dem in portal 2)
The other solution
The solution you used is one of the options, the other is the one where you launch yourself through where the glass panels were, and then onto the walkway, place the portals the way you had them, and then jump into the funnel, onto the hard light bridge.

4/5
I felt really stupid when I could use the excursion funnel with the hard light bridge at the end.
@lillegum: The initial idea involves getting to the trees after test number 6.
Since this is only test one, it might take a while, but I planned that you could get there someday!
@olie glad you liked my map. The design and feel are indeed not good yet. I really need to add lightning and other stuff to make it a bit nicer, and it's on my to do list
Maybe you are interested in the fact, that I played your map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ufof2cZ-fZ4

Can't wait!
And again; awesome job with the rest of the map
Although the apparent solution isn't difficult, there are even easier shortcuts:
Ride the funnel to the top, then shoot a portal into the lightbridge room through the doorway. Drop out of the funnel, grab the cube and portal onto the lightbridge. Place a portal next to the button in the turret room, and place the cube on the button (you don't even have to enter the room.) Place a portal on the target to the right, and walk out.
As part of a bigger map, it would be an easy start. If the rest got more interesting, it could turn out well. Just 3/5 for this piece, now I'll go check out the next parts.
It's slightly harder then before and it looks a lot better (thanks grid). There's still room for improvement and I will most likely update this one again somewhere in the future!
