Hi
Is there a chance that i don't have the instances folder?
I have searched the entire computer for it but didn't found.. any suggestions?

Should be in: Valve\Steam\Steamapps\common\portal2\sdk_content\maps\instances
The portal2 authoring beta installed correctly? In steam, right click and goto properties, local files tab, and verify integrity perhaps? If no luck, uninstall the tools and reinstall?

yeah, here's the thing... i'm not using portal2 authoring tool. only the alien swarm sdk. (and i don't have it in the tools library)

The instances came with the portal 2 authoring tools, I strongly suggest you download the portal 2 authoring.
If you don't use the portal 2 authoring: why not?
I've uploaded a rar'ed version of the instances folder to my website: Removed --msleeper (not sure if I may link to other websites: if not, sorry, please edit my post so the link isn't here anymore)

lpfreaky90 (and everyone else): Do not upload content from the retail game of Portal 2, or contents from the Portal 2 SDK.
