env_projectedtexture

Hi,
I recently tried mapping for Portal 2, I have mapped some for Counter Strike before, but certainly I'm no expert at this, I know the basics.

1) Well, I'm having a problem with env_projectedtexture, I can't figure out where I can fight other light types (textures) that would work with this effect.

When I choose it from the entities list, I get by default flashlight001, that's location is effects/flashlight001. When I try using any other textures (made for materials), I get either black-purple or no effect at all, where can I get working textures or how can I make them work?

2) Is there a way to cast self-shadow while in first person? If I remember correctly there was self-shadowing in Left 4 Dead 1. I get the shadow when I enter in console "thirdpersonshoulder 1", so why can't it work in FPP? Plus, it looks weird when you look at yourself through portal and you cast no shadow :razz:

env_projectedtexture should work with any material file. Make sure you don't have any leaks and compile both vvis and vrad.
