Links are by their definition one-way. He was trying to draw attention to it for people who read the forums but don't troll the Recent Changes page on the wiki.

Yeah a tutorial would be great - are you still working on it. I've checked the wiki and can't find it so...

Hurricaaane wrote: The refract texture must be on all sides of the brush, and the brush itself needs to be a func_brush, not a func_detail.

Not at all, the entire brush must be Nodraw, while the window side has the window texture, and should be set to Func_detail instead, as func_brush is a waste of entity percentage in your map, mainly if you have alot of rooms. Also very nice tut above!

I first posted about how this article had been abandoned, then decided to expand it to incorporate all the stuff in the Wiki Cleanup thread.

Or maybe the man really is out to get us

This "Tutorial for Observation Rooms" is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to enhance their understanding of observation techniques. It clearly outlines essential strategies, making it easier for users to grasp key concepts. I particularly appreciate how it emphasizes the importance of integrating theory with practice, which is crucial for effective learning. If you're looking to ny rent own sell equipment for your observation needs, this tutorial provides great insights on the best practices and setups to consider. Overall, a fantastic guide.
