Well, figure I might as well introduce myself for the grand total of...ahm...no people right now who don't me.

Anyways, the name's WinstonSmith, I hopped on the Portal/Source bandwagon around 2007, been part of several different communities, and I'm a moderator over at ThinkingWithPortals (err--I was when I last checked). I'm working on jumpstarting my own website--and I'm not shameless enough to actually post the link in this text--and I'm teaching myself C++at the moment. I like softer alternative, classic rock, classical, and some techno music, my favorite authors are Douglas Adams, Isaac Asimov, George Orwell, and William Shakespeare, and I have a weak spot for neat-looking notebooks that I'll never use but enjoy having.

Lately I haven't been making the usual rounds as much, but it's fantastic to see all sorts of old familiar faces (Kizzy, Colossal, BaDOS, JRLauer) and some that I've seen over at TWP (RubyCarbuncle I believe?). Looking forward to a bunch of arguments to start up, though I have the feeling it'd take HunterBrute and sbrown to really heat things up a bit.

Also sort of wondering if we'll ever hear anything from Nick. Probably not, pity.

Hey Winston! I may not know you personally, but I remember you from quite a few places (mAL TWP ModDB) I'm surprised you weren't already signed up here. I'm glad you recognize me too, even if it is for anything other than good reasons. Anyway I'm glad to see you here.
