I'm getting a bit tired of sitting on this thing, with it not being released, but there remain a few issues about my little creation that I want to address before I release it into the wilds of the internet.

First of all, the texture size itself is rather small; 256x256. I'd love for the texture itself to be of a higher quality, but my computer isn't (and hasn't been in the past) a powerhouse. And I'm just not texturally gifted.

Second, the "eye" doesn't glow in the dark. I realize it has to be set to work in the alpha of the texture, like the smaller light is, but I'm unsure of how to do that.

Lastly, what I believe is related to the first problem, the "lens" of the "eye" is rather pixelated. No idea how to fix.

Does somebody want to give me some advice/help me out?

  1. To make the texture of the model bigger, you would need to decompile and reskin the model.

  2. Try an Alpha mask.

  3. Try Blending pixels, or use a rational gradient effect.

Hope this helps.
