Weighted Wonderland 2
By: p0rtalplayer
Difficulty: Hard

Rhetorical is back again this Christmas with another holiday puzzle bonanza! Explore new testchambers in the wintry Weighted Wonderland style, but you better watch out: GLaDOS sees you when you're testing, and knows when you've been bad or good!

WARNING: Heavy graphical effects. May run poorly or display graphical defects on some systems. (Tested on a low-end dell laptop with intel graphics card, runs fairly well on low settings).

Anyone who complains about the lava lighting shall be having unpleasantness in their near future. That's harder to fix than you'd expect.

It was flippin' awesome, I don't know what you're talking about. Thanks for all the help, by the way. Wouldn't have been able to finish in time without ya

It's a shame that it couldn't have been completed earlier. I am, however, still in holiday-mode so I'll be sure to give this a go.

Although not able to solve the last test (glitched the arms), I got some WW1-nostalgia:

Also, I'm curious why the guy who built the chambers persisted on having a hole in the ceiling, in EVERY ceiling...?

nah jk, good map, and good lightning grox

It might just be me being paranoid. It took a lot of iterations to get it to where it is now.

And thanks for making a WWII to begin with!

Yup, good ol' visual glitches. Surprisingly few of those on my crappy intel-gfx-card laptop, interestingly enough.
Can you elaborate on how you glitched the arms? I tried to make sure that wasn't possible.

Uhh...cave-ins? Really it's so that I can use fancy snow effects while maintaining the boxed-in-chamber thing.

I just noticed it is possible to trap oneself in the final room:

If you get to the point where you move the ball on any platform, replace it on the button with the reflecto cube, and then position yourself on the reflecto cube platform and reset said cube, you can permanently trap yourself there. No way to portal out and all the arms are shut, I wonder if this is what kek hit?

Hmm, you're right. I'll fix it when I do the post-christmas patch, which will also include some kind of better indication, and also music (maybe). And an actual working naughty/nice system (I know what you were trying to do, grox, and I though it would work but I haven't actually been able to trigger the nice ending)

When it came up naughty I was afraid of getting in the elevator/anywhere near the door. I was expecting a crusher.

Not yet...but you'll get what's coming to you. She sees you when you're sleeping, she knows when you're awake, she knows if you've been bad or good...so be good, or else

OR ELSE. Muahahahahahahaha...

cough

Anyway I've been able to get nice so I don't know what your doing wrong. Just don't tip the turrets over and your all set. (which is possible to do by letting them come all the way over, taking them out of the funnel and placing them harmlessly against the walls)

Wait..wat?

I did that and it gave me naughty, but either way the map logic does not support that at all...nice is only triggered if the counter hits -2, which it seemingly never does.

Going to have to play this now. Didn't know we were putting morality systems into our Portal 2 maps.

I think you must have done something to it, if it hits -2 it is supposed to make you NAUGHTY. It hits -2 when both turrets expire (OnExpire -> counter -> Subtract -> 1) and then sets NAUGHTY_OR_NICE to 1, which according to your ending means NAUGHTY, not NICE.

Is the default value on your version naughty, because that may be why you can't get nice.
