Hi

After playing Portal 2 to death on the Xbox i've finally taken the plunge and decided to venture into the awesome world of PC Portal to take advantage of all this excellent community made content.

As i'm completely new to all this, Thinkingwithportals has been excellent in helping me get to grips with all the newfangled opportunities (just opening the console was beyond me before i came here noob). So i just wanted to thank you all for this amazing resource and your hard work.

OK, pleasantries out of the way; i'm looking for custom maps with scope for throwing cubes (i done made those insane cube tricks videos on the interweb).

So far by using the search function here, i've played

''Quark'' by Taboo54

''Destruction'' by misterpixel

''Blue'' by BenB

These maps were really good and i enjoyed playing them a lot. But i wondered if you guys could recommend me some more SP maps where i can throw cubes around? Either maps where throwing cubes around is required to solve the puzzles, or even just maps where there is scope for throwing cubes, even if it isn't strictly necessary.

The "insane cube throwing" was a joke. I love how console players are blown away by physics in a game. Some dude recorded himself making the same throw about a hundred times and then put together the 1 or 2 times he got lucky. It wasn't that awesome.

To my knowledge, there aren't any custom maps that require a cube to be thrown - probably because it's such a basic concept that it wouldn't really be considered "difficult".

@Msleeper - i don't recall saying cube throwing was hard/difficult? I just find it fun to do, and was on the look out for other maps to do it on. Maybe i was mistaken thinking that this might be the relevant forum to do find maps i find fun?
