An Interesting Texture

I found an interesting texture in Portal 2 Authoring Tools Beta. Go into Hammer and go to the small window that shows the selected texture. Click browse and type "props/diorama_card001" in the filter. You should get an interesting photo of 4 characters.

I noticed that before too. The girl might be Chell and the man might be Cave Johnston. Who knows!?
During the game there is multiple reference that Cave tested on hobos, dunno about the crazy guy though.
What gets me is the date on the hobos' shirt is 1990 when Cave Johnston died a couple of years before that (presumably). I also never saw this in the game... strange. Maybe just a promo Valve decal for future content?

The Final Hours of Portal 2 explains this one: it's a leftover from a scrapped area of Old Aperture. This particular piece was part of a hallway filled with diorama displays, visible in a picture of an early map found in the book.
You can find the picture on page 7 of chapter 7. I'm not sure if I should post it here since I'd have to take it out of the book to do it - I don't know that it's out there anywhere else just yet.

The characters looks like the G-man from Half Life, The Screamer from L4D (scraped special infected), the daughter of an Aperture Science employee. As for the bearded man i have no clue.
