breakable glass portal 2 style

Hai community!
I am making a couple of maps.
I want to make some kind of window you smash trough after getting launched by a vertical faith plate.
But how do make the glass look like the glass you destroy after you get out of your relaxing chamber trip with weatley?
And how to destroy it so you'll still fly straight trough it.

I know that the different kinds of breakable glass are all models with animations, and you can probably trigger them. If you want them to only trigger when you're going quickly with a faith plate, use a trigger_catapult to serve as a speed check.

If you think of the map in the Wheatley Laboratories where there are the four turrets below and the faith plate launching straight to Wheatley's face so that if you launch the cube, it breaks the monitor, they probably used a trigger catapult as a speed check to activate a trigger right on the screen to break it.
