I'm new to this whole mapping thing, but it looks easy as hell. I have been doing a few maps for SMW roms and I have got good at it, so I thought I would make maps for Portle 2 cause I played it at my friends house and it was fun. But it says I need to get portle 2 to get the level editor. Can someone please tell me how to get the portle 2 editor without getting the game. The games good I just dont wanna download it cause its like huge. If not could someone upload or give me a link to a download of the level editor on a website. Not the game just the level editor. If not, a link to the game for free, ill have to figure out how to download it over a couple of months.

Also, if I make a map, how do I play it on my ps3. Do i just put the map file on the uesb and plug it into the ps3 or what? Idk.

You can't play your maps on your ps3. You can't get the map editor without the game. And this forum doesn't really tolerate people who get cracked versions of games.

You could do it the old way and use Alien Swarm SDK to make maps for it... BUT you still need to download all the game content in order to texture you walls and compile.

Maybe you should of thought that through before posting.
