Hi there, I am new to this community.

After completing Portal 1, and then Portal 2 single player and co-op, I found out about custom maps.

So I downloaded the Portal 2 Authoring Tool (this morning), and I have managed to get a basic level going, just with a button, cube and a door. However I have come across a problem. Once the player solves the puzzle, I have no idea on how to make the game end.

If someone could help me with this issue, or at least point me in the right direction, I would be so grateful.

You would need to add the special entrance and exit elevators as well as the instance that holds the events.

Moved to "Mapping Help and Discussion", because you clearly need help.

As for ending the level, there are a few different ways to do it. The instances include one in particular, but I believe the easiest one is a point_clientcommand that runs "disconnect".

I would like to thank you, kwp21 pitts, as that was exactly I was looking for. It has helped me greatly, and now I have an arrival/departure elevator in my first ever created map.

Thanks so much.
