did you see this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iFDPEO6 ... r_embedded
at 0:24 they are in a room and the whole room around them turns into 1 floor.
How do they do this? I can make 2 walls going down with makeramp01_close and makeramp01_close animation of the 64x64 arm, but how about the roof? is there a cool animation I can use to do that.

Ofcourse it's a video and alot can be faked in a video, but just wondering if it's possible

If you do a few tricks with the entities you could reproduce a simmilar effect, but it will require a quite a bit of planning.

The video is not really the game, is a trailer, ingame this is made with prefab animations, you can combine multiple prop_dynamic panels and try to do it but its very difficult to make a animation like that. However, if you are a little bit curious and you wanna make it same, you need to model it, I think you can model the different parts of the panel and remodel again and animate again with func_door and func_door_rotating, but it seems so hard. You know, use animations: make a prop_dynamic and searh for it, next change animation when you want.
