Old Aperture Cave Textures

What textures were used when making the cave/tunnel scenes in Old Aperture? Like right after 'The Fall' or when you have to open the giant vault door. I assumed it would be a blend texture, but there are very few in the Portal 2 tools, and the only one that looks adequate ingame comes out...weird to say the least, when actually applied ('blendrockdirt_tunnel03a'). It actually reflects the RGB equivalent of whatever it's surface normal is when viewed in Hammer, so there's no good way to edit it and see the changes.

Other then that, I can't find any other usable texture.

Thanks for any help

I'm not sure offhand what the rock textures are, but you could always decompile one of VALVe's maps and check it out. Also, make sure you're using displacements, because otherwise it's guaranteed it will look bad.

An easy way to find out any texture's name in-game is to look straight at the surface textured with it so your crosshair lands on it, open the console, and enter "mat_crosshair". It should come back with "hit [material name here]," telling you what material is on that surface.

I'm pretty sure you can use the texture browser filter, using "rock" or probably "nature".

You can also do this with the console command impulse 107.
